    Ian very kind and helpful. Right on walking path by north Esk river on route to Queens Well, Mount Keene and set in pine trees, floral vines, with sheep and n.g. hens zooming around. Sunny. Lovely Dining room with linen, china, good food. Our room was a haven of quiet and antiques with a clean well cared for modern bathroom.

    Breakfast and Dinner are Excellent, Ian is a perfect host and full of stories and information. We had some great hikes and great photograpy! Since this was the first location in Scottish Highlands, it was perfect to slow down after the buzzling tourism of Edinburgh. Vacation from Day 1! Great Cinema with the birds and squirrels right in front of the Breakfast table

    This was definetly our best accomodation during our 14 days scotland trip. Ian is a perfect host and the rooms are very individual. Nothing for people who need a tv in their room, but absolutely perfect for people who can enjoy total nature. We woll definetly come back, when we will travel again to scotland.

    The area is nice and quiet. You are on the verge of more nature than you can think of. Watching the birds (and squirrel) eating their breakfast while you are enjoying yours was a treat.
