    Personal welcome, attention and general friendliness throughout the stay. Quiet environment with ancillary dining within walking distance. Who would wish to stay in a `chain` group hotel with The Hurtwood available...!!

    Very nice and friendly lady in charge. Lovely breakfast. A little early with check out at 10 but I would gladly stay there again.

    Beautiful location, quintessential English village. Food was delicious in the pub however not the most comfortable of places to spend the whole evening. Great for a meal out but nowhere comfortable enough to really stay for the evening. It’s neither a pub nor a restaurant it was something in between which was a bit odd and uncomfortable s staff were very friendly but busy so not able to give the service they could have.

    This hotel was a real find, the location was fabulous with a lovely view out of the bedroom window. Bedroom comfortable, staff really friendly and breakfast was really nice and fresh. Magazines available in the dining room to read. Games and books for entertainment.

    The breakfast was superb. The room was just lovely and so quiet, we felt so rested and calm The owner was so nice and we are going back in Sept.

    The remote location, despite being a short drive to Guildford - so quiet and peaceful. The beautiful garden was just so idyllic in the evening with a glass of wine. The rooms are spotless, and the hotel staff are super friendly and very accommodating - even with our very loud toddler!
