    It's really close to the beach and to the nearby shrine. The breakfast with the cakes is delicious!

    Very friendly host who left each evening a bag with very tasty cakes in the fridge for our breakfast. Also she took our suitcases to station because it rained very much when we left.

    We loved our stay at ICHIE, the bedroom was beautiful it was a lovely traditional Japanese property with plenty of character and Mayumi and Aya were wonderful hosts who helped us with lots of useful help and advice on what to do and where to go whilst we were in Tanabe. They also supplied us with lovely breakfasts of chiffon cake. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and we really hope that we can visit it again! If you have a chance to stay at ICHIE I highly recommend it.

    Mayumi was very nice, she was very helpful and give us all the information to start our route to kumanokodo. We had a room for two people and we were going to share it but she directly put us in the other room so we would have more privacy, everyone is happy. The cake for the breakfast was very nice and free ( as a small present). I hope we could have stayed just 2-3 hours more to give her an appropriate farewell but we had to departure very early to kumanokodo. If you really want Japanese hospitality for a very nice price, stay here. Thanks!
