Very nice guesthouse. Spacious rooms super central to the Tower of Pisa. Around 50 meters. Very clean, however There is no place where the name IL Cardinale is. You have to enter the restaurant and Ask there.

Apartment was super clean and secure. Fantastic location; only a few metres away from the Leaning Tower, and close to bus stops. Host greeted us very warmly upon arrival and explained everything well.

The location is about 120m from the eastern boundary of the UNESCO WHS Piazza del Duomo. The bus stop (Torre 1) is about 600m away near the western side of the piazza, taking 7 minutes walking time according to Google maps. Impossible to do in that time unless it is raining hard. The walk and views are magnificent, photo stops obligatory. The room was very clean and comfortable with two single beds made up as a king-size bed. The spacious bathroom had a combined bath and shower. The room had very effective and, in August, necessary air conditioning albeit a bit noisy. The room is above the Pisa Café with very secure entry through a gated internal courtyard plus three locked doors. Breakfast is taken in the Pisa Café. The host, Silvia, is very helpful and friendly as are the waitresses in the café. We also had dinner at the Pisa Café which was excellent and very competitively priced. The table had a nice view of the nearby Leaning Tower of Pisa.
