Nice hostel, not the most social, but you can meet nice people. Comfy big beds, AC, lockers. Big rooms. Free water. Pool table downstairs. All in all a good hostel. Area is nice, close to the ferry, walk to sairee beach is about 15 min.

It was close to the harbour and scuba diving centres, it was a social hostel, AC was adequate, staff were helpful (quite blunt which I don't mind)

I stayed 7 nights at Green Shelter and If I could I would have stayed another week! This Hostel is so sweet and amazing and the staff is wonderful! It’s a great Hostel to socialize and meet lovely new people, especially if you are traveling alone. There are some activities like Buffet or Beer Bong. The Location is great! Right at the Pier and walking distance to some beaches. To the Party Area it’s a 15min walk but usually there are always people from the hostel going, so everyone walks together. You can rent snorkeling gear and helmets at the Hostel and they offer free drinking water! The food also is amazing. Many Veggie and Vegan Options and delicious breakfast Müsli. Also right next to a cool Spanish diving school where I did my open water diving and where they often have BBQs with Reggaeton. Go to Green Shelter, you will have an amazing time and feel home!

Great vibe! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The common area is designed very well. Good place to meet other backpackers! Like the design of the rooms/bathroom area.

Good hang out on the porch. Much quieter than the other side of the beach, which I enjoy. About 20 min walk to the bars, I did it alone but if you aren’t adventurous you can find other people to go with at the hostel.
