    This was one of the most unique experiences we’ve had so far on our round trip in south africa. Our bathroom had a stunning view on the citrus garden and the mountains in the background. We only stayed for 1 night, but more time in this dreamy place would be wonderful!

    Honestly one of the best places we ever stayed at. If you're hesitating - don't! Just book this place - you won't be disappointed. Breakfast is amazing, the place itself is a real gem. Highest quality and design.... we regret that we only spent one night. So so so beautiful.

    Of all the beautiful places we stayed in South Africa this one was the most unique and memorable. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the beautiful garden with the orange trees and the view of the mountains with flocks of Sacred Ibis flying past. Oh, and the claw footed bath-tub. Very kind and attentive hosts.

    Jonkmanshof feels if you are in the beginning former century. Beautiful fantastic accomodation and the breakfast was amazing.

    The night we stayed in this second oldest house in Montagu was a once in a lifetime experience. The house and its interior and decoration is really something special and a guaranteed memory for life. People make you immediately feel at home and although we had the house to our own, they were never far away. Breakfast is prepared on the spot and also there they are different (and better) than all other addresses we had in South Africa! Simply A MUST GO!!

    Jonkmanshof is a beautiful place to stay at. The interiors are lovely and the comfort wonderful. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home. The breakfast is delicious and the gardens and surrounds draw you in to explore their botanical interests and beauty.

    An absolute gem, food for the soul. Loved the decor attention to detail. Citrus garden, especially with the view of it from our bathroom door to outside. Breakfast around the kitchen table was a real treat of genuine homemade juice and grown vegetables, herbs with our food. It is a place to experience and savour.
