If you wanna have some adventure and feel nature this is the right place to stay. The owners are amazing and very helpful people, they gave to us a lot of informations about the surrounding attractions. They have motorbikes for rent and they can prepare breakfast and dinner at your order. In terms of price-quality it is fantastic.

I don’t have enough words to thanks Maria and her husband enough for our stay. They were so so so helpful and kind, always going beyond our expectations , giving us little fruits and homemade candies. The place is so nice and feel like home with all the flowers and vegetables patches. They have two really cute daughters , and loads of cute animals arounds the property like kittens and puppies. We recommend to everyone to come here

If you like staying in 5* hotels and located to the party scene then you shouldn’t go there. It’s a awesome place to relax (nature and farm noises are not always enjoyable). I really liked the “camping” style. Food, garden and hosts were great. You can rent a motorbike and you will need it to get around. All good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Backpacker's Chalet! Maria and Isabello were welcoming us very warmly and their hospitality is amazing! The food Maria that cooked for us, was really really nice and during the evening we talked with Maria a lot about how they built this lovely place. The houses are small, but very nice and cozy. Maria even brought us back to town the next morning, so that we could catch a bus from there. We definetly highly recommend a stay at this adorable place!

We enjoyed so much this place, perfect for backpakers ! Maria and her family are lovely persons. You can rent scooters, and maria is a very good cooker and the food is cheap. She is ready to give you some advices. It’s not far from chocolate hills. The tent and the shower is really nice, you can find locker if you want more space in the tent. You can get there with a van from Tagbilaran The only think you should know is that you can hear the chicken during the night. So bring some earplugs because maria’s place is worth the detour.
