Warm welcome from friendly and professional staff, very comfortable stay with great atmosphere. Everything spotlessly clean. Perfect location just across from the railway station and just five minutes walk from town centre. Plenty of easily accessible parking available on-site. Lived in Elgin 35 years ago when the Laich was the most popular hotel in the town and fantastic to find it still holding that position now. Quite an achievement. -

A great location for exploring the Highlands. Hotel provides top class accommodation at affordable rates. Rooms are well proportioned (= large) with shower and bath. Very modern warm decor - spotless and clean. Food was excellent - dinner sitting was busy with mix of tourists and locals - always a good sign. Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. Breakfast - inclusive - was served to order - full Scottish breakfast and some lighter alternatives. All ingredients were very high quality. Will keep this as a regular stopping point when traveling to Highlands. -
