    This is a wonderful place to stay. Magnificent view down the hillside & across Lake Thingvellir. Very quite & peaceful. The cottage was very cozy, all ready for our arrival. Nice & comfortable beds, small compact kitchen, eating area for 4, a small lounge & chairs, and big windows all round. Would definitely stay here again, about 40 minutes drive to Reykjavik.

I felt like in a dream, so beautiful, the view from the cottage is breathtaking and it feels good to be away from the touristuc hustle - the owner have their house close by in case we need anything. As a female solo traveler, i appreciated it - so clean! - i liked the fact that i could cook

    This was our best accommodation during our stay in Iceland. The location and the view over the lake were amazing and the cottage was very well equipped (spices, cooking facilities, comfortable chairs, bed linen, towels, ...). We loved it there, felt comfortable right away and the only thing we regret was only staying there for 1 night. It was a perfect stay!
