    Good location for bird Island. Large room with balcony, quiet and comfy bed. Breakfast good selection. Had a fairly colonial feel and we’ll maintained.

    Rooms are clean and well furnished. Hotel is old but clearly has a deep rooted history in the area. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Breakfast is good.

    An old style hotel where we have stayed a number of time quite some time ago. It has been refurbished nicely and it is cleaner and more comfortable than before when it was part of a hotel chain. All staff ver very friendly and we always felt very welcome. Enjoyed the breakfast and nice coffee.

    The breakfast was almost the same every morning, but no complaints as there was more than enough to eat. Each morning we received an Easter egg at our table seeing we visited during the Easter weekend. We loved the home baked bread (not the normal café bread) Fresh food every morning. My husband loved the coffee blend they served. The staff were super friendly and we were greeted with smiling faces every morning and evening. We felt very welcome from the start until the end of our stay. Will most definitely stay there again as we did in the past.

    Breakfast was limited and other than the eggs was cold each morning, serving staff did not appear to care when challenged. We understand that the hotel is only 3 stars, unfortunately our experience did not even rate one, none of the staff appeared to take any notice of our requests. The dinner on the first night was appalling the buffalo wings took 35 minutes, had to be cooked from frozen and the mushroom soup was congealed cream with 7 small pieces of mushroom, with no flouring what so ever.
