Bungalows are very nice. Breakfast is fantastic. Beach of the resort is very beautiful and near to the resort, within max 5 km, there are 3 awesome beach ( Plage de la perle, grande anse, and a small cove located prior to arrive in grande anse.

Breakfast was lovely but repetitive. Virtually no change from day to day. Glad there was a shop.

The hotel is situated on one of the best beaches of the island. The wind is blowing in constant direction and the weather is therefore better as in the rest of Guadeloupe. The same stands also for the sea - the current is beyond the cap, so you basically always have a good conditions for swimming. The water quality is very good for Guadeloupe. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which is much more skandinavian, than french. The fruit smoothies every morning are amazing - especially the one made of local bananas. We had a remote bungalow of decent size, but we slept very well every day. Some guests complained about the WiFi connection - for us it was the last important thing ever, because we rather enjoy the wonderful nature, than good internet connection. You don’t have to fly 8000 km for a good internet actually. So for us it was a very good located hotel and excellent value for money.

Hotel is on a beautiful beach. The room was comfortable with fabulous seaview. The manager Leon was very helpful with lots of information. We upgraded to half board and the food was delicious with lots of choice. A must for 'Death in Paradise' fans as the hotel itself was a location and very near to Deshaies to visit Honore police station and Catherine's bar !

Our room overlooked Dangerous Beach (as the staff dubbed it). I've since seen it many times on 'Death in Paradise'. Location was fine although I wasn't expecting the distance to any town or facilities other than those owned by the hotel. We hired a car for the second week (well recommended) and the Europcar desk in the hotel was the cheapest (when booked online). Tennis courts were free and in great condition (although they should fix the lights - which I'm told have been out for 3 years). Beaches were lovely and the sun beds plentiful, the beach bar was expensive if you're not on an all inclusive deal but then you'd expect that. The hotel shop sold clothes and sun oil and that was about it, but prices were comparable with the local tourist shops.
