Good town centre location with plenty of secure parking in large barn behind hotel. Old building with lots of character - looks great from outside 100m away. 20 minutes to ferry at Cherbourg.

The hotel is a very traditional one and was clearly an old coaching house. Therefore it does not have the facility of a lift, but has an amazing old stone staircase, huge old coach house as a garage, an arched entrance from the road.It therefore makes up in charm what it lacks in modernity. It has wifi, and tv in the room. Staff friendly and helpful, we sadly did not get to use the resturant which seems well used by locals. Well positioned for us to take our grandson on his first noliday to France. Reasonable value, clean towels each day.

The hotel was in an amazing old building that must have dated back many centuries, really quaint. It was an older style hotel, with each room unique as they were all different, in contrast to some of the modern ones where everything is the same.

the diner was good, only exception to the shameful way of receiving us! The owner started anouncing me that I had hired two rooms!!! then, we could'nt get in until 5.30 pm which is obviously tstupid. I've traveled all my life and i've never had to confront myself to such an anti-service behaviour... the owner's plead was that they neede time to clean the rooms. when we got in the floor was disgusting !

Loads of character .The big old barn that they use as a parking garage is a real feature. And a good breakfast, worth paying for.

Apart from the location, an enormous garage to put our bikes and what was once a beautiful building , that’s it

Room was large (no 15 ), and shower and hot water worked well. Breakfast was nice one croissant each, baguette and cheese and our own jug of orange juice, could have done with a few more plates and spare knives to cut the cheese and baguettes. Reasonable price.

Charm and character in abundance. This was not an expensive hotel and so expectations were not high. It is basic. The owner spoke no English, now as it is in France this is not a criticism but unusual. His son spoke some English. Parking was good as it is under cover in a large barn. Breakfast was disappointing, One croissant, some bread and yoghurt. The coffee was good though. Once I finished my croissant the condiments placed on the table, Evening meal was nice and not too expensive.
