Lockerbie Lodge is on a main road near to restaurants and other amenities- but is behind a high wall, quiet, secluded and with a peaceful garden. The reception was friendly; the room was large enough, was nicely furnished and had a small fridge - with fresh milk in a small jug - not horrible prepackaged triangles of long life milk!. We were provided with a lantern to deal with load shedding. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner, leaving the car in secure parking just near our room - and were caught in a huge storm while dining. The owner drove round to fetch us - which we really appreciated. Should I need accommodation in Vryburg in future this will definitely be my first choice.
