    The food was great, the staff were friendly. The whole establishment had a real buzz about it, always plenty of people without being overwhelming. Space inside and out And i really liked the late entry door and space to lock up our bikes.

    The Room is quite cozy and sound-proofing despite the noise from crowd in the restaurant. The bathroom amenities are good. Breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food is with good quality.

    We were in Overveen for a stop over, for one night and after reading excellent reviews we booked Loetje. We even ended up having the dinner in the restaurant downstairs after our trip to Zandvoort. All the Loetje people we encountered in the restaurant were very warm and welcoming and I had THE BEST veggie burger in my life yet, so much so, that I would return to Loetje just to have that burger again! Coming to the room - Room was decent size and on first floor, so had access to Terrace - Amazing. Bathroom was a bit small though. Break fast was basic, but we had ample to fill the stomach.

    We stayed here because we wanted an experience that was slightly away from the big city of Amsterdam experience. This was WONDERFUL. Spent the afternoon strolling around the national park backing onto the property and went to Haarlem for a wander the next day which was an easy 1 stop on the train and the train was only a few metres up the road, as was the supermarket. We didn't realise the restaurant on the property was SO popular so struggled to get a table for the 6 of us but the staff were incredibly accommodating.
