    Everything was great from our greeting, the room, the shower and the breakfast. The dogs are very friendly as well. Jane and Kevin, the owners are excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend Magpie as a place to stay.

    I have nothing but praise to give for my stay at Magpies Lodge. My quarters were beautiful. Everything about the layout was well thought out, with the upmost attention to detail paid. The facilities were top notch too, I even had a fridge in my room. The bathroom was well designed, and the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was scrupulously clean. Jane and Kevin were both lovely and as a lone traveler they made me feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was fantastic, Jane makes fantastic poached eggs!. I would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

    Jane is a lovely host, very helpful and welcoming. She even dropped us off the train station in Horsham so we were able to go to London easily without car.

    Very warm welcome from the owners who looked after us very well. Rooms lovely, breakfast very good. Couldn't ask for more

    The Magpies was absolutely perfect for us. Our stay was so relaxing we enjoyed being able to have the free run of the place. The owners were so hospitable to us and all the other guests we met. Nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic place highly recommended.

    The Little extras in the room like a little carafe of sherry, kit kats on the tea making. The two dogs were lovely and well behaved. The hosts were very friendly and the garden was a delight.

    Was up to early for breakfast but Jane made me lovely sausage sandwich’s to take with me. Finished work and sat on the terrace in the beautiful garden for a few hours which was lovely.

    Beautiful big room with comfy bed, own entrance and view of pretty English country garden. Lovely touches including real ground coffee, fresh milk, a selection of teas, sweeties and KitKats. Lovely pool. 2 gorgeous, friendly springer spaniels. Generous cooked breakfast with selection of farm homemade jams, fresh berries, yogurt, cereals snd muesli bars.

    The location was ideal for our trip, very quiet, yet close to amenities Excellent choice on breakfast menu, which set us up for the day ahead. It was nice to have our own private access to the room from outside.

    Very modern clean comfortable room and bathroom with lovely countryside outlook. Friendly owners made us very welcome. Excellent breakfast each morning! Two lovely family dogs!
