    Our first visit to Crete so we were unsure what to expect in terms of the area we chose. Maybe because it was September, most tourists in Platanias were over 40 so it suited us perfectly! Amazing apartment - modern design and high-end finish , spotlessly clean, everything needed supplied. Staff were lovely - friendly and helpful yet not obtrusive or pushy. breakfast fine. location excellent for exploring region - easy access to Rethmyno by bus or an enjoyable walk along the coast. We stayed in Mary Hotel for 2 weeks and never got bored. great restaurants and bars nearby with lots of veggie options. fantastic beach a short stroll away. Overall would recommend for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do and see when you want to - take a trip to the south coast, its beautiful!

    We absolutely loved this hotel and it exceeded both our expectations. It was a last minute booking as we were in the area and we weren’t expecting much. The price we paid proved to be amazing value for what we got; from facilities, the amazing room which was new, super clean & super modern design and amazing comfort. The included breakfast with lots of in house baked food & jams and great selection. We were also surprised at the level of hospitality and professionalism of all staff. This is a family owned hotel who have worked very hard to build this business and really appreciate every guest. The gift upon check out was unexpected and very much appreciated.

    This hotel is very well positioned (max 5 minutes walking to the beach, to restaurants, to shops and a super-market). It has a very friendly staff and owner and also a very good breakfast. It's the perfect place to stay and relax with your family. You can stay at the pool and have a drink at the bar or you can go to the beach. Our time here was great!

    Location suited our needs (we were going to a wedding locally). Pool was very good with Roman steps. Parking just outside. Short walk to the beach, shops, cafes and bars. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom newly renovated. Staff were friendly.

    All of the staff were beyond friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very modern, clean and practical - but they are charming as well. Multiple pools, including options for (young) children.

    The staff were all very nice and Incredibly helpful. The first room we were given wasn't really suitable for our needs, but we were able to change the next morning for one that was, which was great. The place was very clean and modern and the breakfast was amazing. Our flight was leaving late so we also managed to get a room for the day which was a great help with two kids! the high reviews are totally deserved. I can't recommend it enough.

    It is a quite family hotel which was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was very comfortable and implacably clean. A beautiful beach just 5-10 min walk away form the hotel is another bonus. I would be happy to go back and can definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a quite family vacation!

    Everything was perfect. The staff is so friendly. Kind attentions and smiles all day long. Nice pools, great rooms and fantastic location. Breakfast was great. Gonna miss that Family!
