I have been to 8 hotels in S.Korea and by the far this hotel had the friendliest staff ever, one of the reception staff spoke perfect English and the ones that didn't speak would try to explain patiently for me to understand them. The hotel was clean, in a quite area and within walking distance from one of the palaces. When I first arrived I thought I had reserved a hotel in a remote area, however, after I got around to the places I found out it is very close to the busy areas riding the bus but still in a place which seems to be more relaxed and quite at night. -

Close to some of the major sites including Gwangjang market which has a lot of interesting food stalls. Has a rooftop area with great views over the nearby palace gardens towards the mountains in the north of Seoul. Breakfast downstairs features a basic western breakfast and a more comprehensive Korean breakfast. Big, clean and spacious rooms and helpful staff. -

The location is perfect, close to the palaces. But far from subways. The staff were excellent, helping us with our suitcases and getting cabs. The rooftop garden is a bounus.
