    Our stay at Milkhouse was wonderful: this is an absolutely superb place! Everything (room/bathroom) was super clean and the whole setup is done with such love and care. There are little things provided daily like fresh fruit, sweets and books about Amsterdam, and you could not ask for a better host than Eline. She and her husband were very helpful with any questions we had and gave great advice for restaurants and places to see. Breakfast is available in a nice café just a few steps up the street. We also loved the location, basically everything (museums, shopping, lots of restaurants) is within walking distance of a few minutes and tram stops are also just up the street. Overall we loved the place and cannot praise it highly enough, it is in our top three of small B&B places we stayed at over the last ten years.

    We stayed 2 nights in early July and found the comfort and location of the accommodation beyond our expectations. Our host, Eline was so helpful assisting with recommendations for local restaurants and places of interest to visit. On our last day we were meeting at a nearby hotel to be transferred to our river cruise destination and Eline insisted on delivering our bags to the hotel. A most helpful and beautiful person. Thank you Eline for contributing to a very enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

    Fantastic service. Very personal. Lovely room with our own door to the street just next to the channel. Very central but still calm. Excellent restaurants of all kind. Love to get back :)

    The location was fabulous, the decor was beautiful, and attention to detail faultless. Eline and Eric were terrific hosts - so lovely and helpful with restaurant recommendations and local tips which really enhanced our experience of Amsterdam. We also enjoyed the excellent wine and snacks which were provided in the mini bar! We will definitely be back!

    Going the extra mile, and paying attention to every little detail, it was hard not to love our stay at Milkhouse. One of most enjoyable stays we've had, where we also really felt like home. Extremely discrete and accomodating to guest needs. So many perks, and little gestures that made a whole lot of difference to our experience. Perfect location, super clean, huge comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful owner. Recommended without any hesitation A+

    We’d rate this 6 out of 5 if we could. Eline is a perfect host. She provided lots of special touches that helped to create a luxury experience. Our room was made up in the morning after we left and if we’d had an afternoon nap, the bed was redone when returned home from dinner. The free mini bar which included soft drinks, chocolates and wine was restocked morning and late afternoon. Eline left other treats like chocolates and fresh fruit, always something different each day. We found the bed to be the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on with beautiful linen and pillows that were just right. It’s in a perfect location for exploring Amsterdam - right in the middle of everything. The tram to everywhere is just up the road and Eline has OV Cards for you top up and use. We would definitely stay here again.

    There was really everything, and I mean everything anyone can think of there. From free drinks in the minibar to free tram tickets, chocolates on the bed and wine- all there. When this little cozy place was renovated, no expenses were spared. Everything is top notch quality, beds extremely comfy. And all that in a prime location of the city right Next to one of the main canals. Perfect!

    Everything was perfect from start to finish. Eline was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was outstanding; very cosy feel, modern bathroom, coffee machine and a large very comfortable bed with hotel style pillows. Mini bar and bottle of wine was a great touch, meant we did not have to nip out to and from the shop. Room was kept very clean and a lovely welcome note with chocolates was there upon arrival. Well worth the money, haven’t received this kind of service at some of the top hotels!
