    Overall the minshuku is comfortable, u can hv yr private onsen outside yr room、room is spacious n clean. The dinner n breakfast we’re gorgeous n delicious . (in fact more than we can eat😂.

    The onsen, its a private onsen, and makes you feel exclusive, the room is big and comfy, so is the walkway and the entire building. Very nice place to stay

    Fantastic place if you wish to stay at a traditional hotel. This is a hotel with several rooms. The rooms are large and have their own toilet. Everything is clean and lovely decorated. We very much enjoyed the onsen bath. The owner explains how to use everything. We booked with breakfast and dinner, which we can highly recommend. The food is absolutely delicious and they serve so many dishes and plates, that it is hard to finish all of them. We would definitely return to this place on a future trip. It is located in a scenic area. We think that a car is required to reach it. Parking is available and free.

    We really appreciated the help from the girl who checked us into our rooms. She was amazing. She also prepared our breakfast which was really good and yummy. The public bath was clean and lovely.

    We went by bus from 黑川温泉 and got off 2 stops (5min) after Aso Station which is 乙姬xxxxx村入口. The hotel is right opposite the bus stop. The owner made us excellent local food diner and breakfast which amazed us for the price we are paying. Room is clean and comfortable, we stayed in Japanese styled room, where you need to make your own beds. Self served but very fun and home feeling. There are 4 private onsen onsite free to use, which we didn’t use cause we’ve been insen hopping for a few days, but seems pretty nice too. Owner even did us a favour to drop us off at Aso station the second day - too nice of her ;)

    The room is spacious, clean and tidy. Comfortable than expected although I did not get used to sleep on the floor with thin mattress as the traditional Japanese.
