    Our stay has been absolutely gorgeous. The staff is extraordinarily kind and helped us out in any way possible. The accomodation itself is a beautiful traditional minshuku right next to the temple with a breathtaking view over the city. One of our best stays in Japan, even at rainy days you can enjoy the beatiful room with the astonishing view in the relaxing atmosphere of the temple grounds.

    Yuko-san and her husband drove us from Kami-Kumamoto Station to the accommodation, which is really thoughtful! Room is spacious and comfortable! The breakfast they prepared was really delicious.

    host is very kind. i could have a conversation on google translation. when i arrived in the evening, it was hard to find because of the dark. navigation was lost because it misdirected the way so, the owner came to pcik me up with a car.

    Yoko-san was an absolutely lovely host who looked after us with utmost care and service. Her breakfasts were one of the highlights of our trip and I can highly recommend it! The house was quaint and was equipped with everything we needed. Free parking was available just a short walk from the house. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Kumamoto.

    Traditional Old Japanese house next to temple ground. Situated high on the hill with excellent view of Kumamoto. The host is fantastic and ensure us to have a comfortable stay. Free Car park in temple ground.
