    We only stayed for a short period (overnight). We were 6 cyclists looking for a stop on a 3 day biking adventure. The staff were very accommodating in our endeavor as we were able to deliver our bags, food and beverages beforehand and were also allowed to store them for a couple days while we continued on our trip (collected it all 2 days later). The house was clean, had everything we needed and lots of fire/braai wood. We checked out at around 9am which was quick and easy and headed into Stanford for breakfast.

    Awesome! We only stayed one night but we should have stayed more. Super peaceful, well equipped. Super friendly staff! Definitely worth the detour!

    What a wonderful place it is! Beautiful location overlooking lagoon and the mountains behind it. We stayed at lovely, nicely decorated cottage with a pretty flower garden in front of it. We ordered a tasty breakfast which we enjoyed on our veranda. The view from the pool area is magnificent. Only few cottages - it feels very private. Me, my partner and all my friends - we truly felt in love with this place.

    The warm and friendly greeting on arrival. The quietness and close proximity to the lagoon and the wild life made this an extremely relaxing booking. The ability to have the best of both worlds with the cottages being able to provide pre–cooked meals at the cottage and to be able to self cater gave us great flexibility. The close proximity to Hermanus and Grotto Beach meant a short drive (along prepared unpaved road) for a change of scenery.

    Great place in a stunning landscape. Cottages are very luxurious and the staff is more than friendly. The highlight was the New Years Eve dinner at the lodge.

    Peace and quiet, very fast internet.Beautiful location.Extra bonus that housekeeper turned up to clean which wasn’t expected.Lovely breakfast in a basket that gift delivered each morning !
