    Comfort, quietness, friendly hosts, superb rural location, all within 20 min drive to main town of Stranraer for supplies ,or for longer stays 20 mins to ferry to Ireland ferry terminal

    Very quirky shed /Lodge, but very peaceful and had two excellent nights sleep. Value for money and close to stranraer and port Patrick. Would recommend as everyone around this small village were lovely and so helpful. WiFi is fantastic for the middle of nowhere and better than mine at home. If need anything all you do is ask. Great stopover for the ferry to Belfast. No need to set your alarm as the resident rooster is constantly helpful in the morning. Enjoyed our two night stay.

    Massive space. Got moved to a cottage with several rooms, beautiful kitchen, huge bath and Netflix enabled TV! Didn't complain... Harry is wonderfully friendly. Thanks so much! Superbl, stunning, quiet village too.

    It was camping with the fuss removed. Lots of fresh air, countryside and peace. We loved that it had ducks, chickens and a rooster.

    Harry and his wife are really friendly and really accommodating. We arrived quite late but they both met us and were really kind. It was quite cold but harry showed us the heaters and things soon got toasty. We were up very early (5am) and Harry came out to see us off, giving directions and advice for getting fuel and going on to the harbour.

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. They went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, even taking me by car into town to buy refreshments.

    Excellent, helpful host, basic accomodation but comfortable for a family. Play park down road great for the children. Very peacful location, shop in village for basics. Ideal for a couple of nights stay. Will stay again!
