The staff let me check in super early free of charge, which was so nice and well needed after my night bus ride. The room is very spacious and equipped with everything you might need. Free water, TV, towels, toiletries and a minibar. The WiFi is not great, but okay (as anywhere in Myanmar - I recommend getting a local SIM, it's super cheap). The location is nice - if you like walking, you can reach quite many temples on foot. 10-15 minutes on foot away, there are lots of restaurants "downtown", but there's some places around the hotel itself, too. The breakfast offers a huge variety, but mostly burmese dishes. It was a lot and delicious, but if you don't like hearty rice breakfasts, you might be a little disappointed. I rented a decent bicycle at the hotel next door for just 2000 MMK.

The wonderful garden and the unique style of the hotel and the dining hall. Extremely friendly, attentive hotel staff. Traditional breakfast, but toast is available, too. Very clean hotel, very good AC in the rooms. Absolutely quiet at night, although that may be different for some rooms, as there are construction works going on at the moment. Good location to discover everything and to have a good choice of restaurants at night.

For this price of low season, the location of the hotel is perfect, easy to reach all the main attractions and some excellent restaurants. The Nanda restaurant with traditional puppetry show is just next the door. The Myanmar style breakfast is excellent, it’s a set and huge for me! I expect another stomach to finish all the food! The people in this hotel are also very nice, full of human touch. Special thanks to Mr. Moe, he helped me a lot and could speak in good English.

The location is not at the center but it's near a few restaurants. It's also easy to hail a tuktuk or rent a bike from the hotel so the location is good. It is pretty quiet and relaxing at the property. A receptionist is always around to help if you have any concerns but in general, they just let you enjoy your time roaming around. There's also plenty of breakfast choices if you want to try Burmese cuisine. We were also allowed to check-in early and our room was upgraded.
