Lovely hotel in nice wee village. Fab walk just behind hotel to evanton woods and Black Gorge. -

On arrival after a week of terrible hotels and no sleep I must admit I was worried to see the exterior looking a bit run down and only a few parking spaces but actually was pleasantly surprised. Yes inside it is low budget and dated with creaking floors but clean and large room with all you could need. The food was incredible as were the staff with customer service of the highest standards. My only problem was sleep only due to people leaving the pub with their friends beeping and shouting in cars and drunk so I would probably avoid for weekends or with work the next day but would stay again and will eat here now everytime we are that way or even drive out to it. -
