Great location in the tropical rainforest but with the entry gate located right on the main road. It's only a short walk to Long Bay Beach, a beautiful white beach with actual waves. The host Carla is a "white rasta" originally from Belgium. She is very helpful and up for a chat or advice at any time. Makes great coffee too. I particularly liked the outdoor shower and the new indoor bathroom. Mine was a nice big room - one of only tw0 - with windows, a balcony and hammock plus a table and sitting area you share with the other guestroom. You can hear the cacophony of cicadas and other insects at night - just like in The Australian bush. Great sunsets and lobster at the Chillout Lounge down on Long Bay beach

Wonderful setting creating the ''in the middle of nature'' experience, in true Jamaican style. The sounds of nature were enticing, as where the fire flies. Super wonderful and friendly hosts (Carla & Sons) made us feel right at home. Great breakfast, and also dinner. Also loved the outdoor shower!

Palm Yard was the highlight of my Jamaika journey! Really really loved it there. It felt like home, beautiful place and garden. The cottage style buildings are very beautiful. I will definitely visit again, such lovely and careing people.

Carla is a great and welcoming host and her place is lovely. Good atmosphere in the cosy and safe accommodation.

Recommend this place 100% if you like being in the nature. This place was just wonderful - you feel like in the middle of the jungle. You can only hear the sound of the animals as well as the sound of the waves at night if you listen carefully. Babu is such a nice host and a great cook - definitely book breakfast and the excellent 3-course-dinner. Enjoyed the open air shower in the evening :)

Carla is really lovely and easy going person, she's kind and nice woman. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful garden, you feel like part of nature.

Location is great, not so far from boston beach. Very quiet place and the owner is a lovely person. Her sons took to reach falls wich is such a nice place and she booked a fishing trip for us with local fisherman. I would stay longer if i could!

The place is in the middle of the tropical yard, it's really nice for wild and fauna lovers. Carla is really welcoming and makes really tasty breakfasts! It's well located around different beaches, between Long Bay and Boston Bay, perfect for a few days. Carla's sons are also eager to bring you for a special VIP tour to the Reach Fall (around 20$/per pers.), they're very nice guides.

This place has got an amazing set up in a tropical garden with an open air shower and outside toilet. We loved it here and stayed longer than expected. Carla and Pearl really treated us well with delicious local food (breakfast, lunch, dinner - you name it!). We can also really recommend the local experiences with Pearl - go speerfishing or climb the most beautiful parts of the Reach Falls, you'll enjoy it!
