    We loved everything about this place - the bright colours, outdoor tub, hammock, all the small things like candles, sarongs, umbrella, free bike use. The bar round the pool was excellent and the pool temp was perfect.

    Great location, set in gorgeous gardens - close to the town but away from hustle and bustle and noise. We loved the accommodation - large comfy beds, privacy and great facilities. The pool with little waterfall is really wonderful and relaxing, lots of extras like bicycles for use, a library and games to borrow. Did I mention the hammock!? We loved it and would definitely stay again - and run by lovely, friendly and helpful people.

    We spent a few days in Port Douglas for our honeymoon and loved staying at the Pink Flamingo. It is just a 15 minute walk from the centre of town and is a 10 minute walk away from 4 mile beach. Staying at the Pink Flamingo was like being in a beautiful oasis, the room was large and comfy, and Fiona (owner) even gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate! The swimming pool is lovely and has no curfew so you can have a midnight dip if you wanted to. Lovely serene lush rainforest surrounding. Will definitely go back and recommend it highly.
