    La atención que recibimos fue muy amable en todo momento. Siempre buscan tu máximo confort y son muy serviciales. El alojamiento tiene un estilo muy bonito y las vistas al volcán Baru son espectaculares. Y ademas, puedes disfrutar de esta vista en una piscina de agua caliente. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades y la comida simplemente increíble. Creo que es la mejor que he probado en mi vida, sin palabras. Ojalá tengamos la oportunidad de volver algún día, sin duda merece mucho la pena.

    This place is a true experience! The photos don’t do it justice because it is so much more beautiful in real life!! The garden has such beautiful views over the mountains and on the Baru volcano. The little pool is wonderful after dinner when the whole garden is lit up. Olga is an amazing cook!! It does not matter what you order, everything is of haute cuisine level. Even breakfast looks like you are eating in a Five star restaurant. Her husband Stéphane is a very friendly and funny guy to talk to. They both make you feel really like special guests in the way every little detail is looked after.

    Breakfast was great Olga really comes up with new varieties, the fruit was to die for. She makes every meal a special occasion. The view from the room is spectacular, the jacuzzi was a nice surprise. A true Refugio.

    What an amazing place! We really wished we had spent more time here, but we were only passing through between Panama City and Bocas town. We stayed on both our there and return trips, and both times it was fantastic! Olga is an incredible cook, and there is so much food, it’s no wonder the name of their restaurant is La Gula (Gluttony)! We had to go with only the main meal on our way home, but were very glad that we had tried the full 4-course meal on the way out. The setting is picturesque, with amazing views and so many fireflies! They have a little nook for the kids to hang out in, and everywhere you look, there is something new to see. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and neatly decorated. And the hot tub is a great place to relax and have some of the best passionfruit margaritas you’ve ever had!
