    Amazing staff, spotless rooms, comfy, great location, great value - 3rd time there -highly recommended - and the taverna is one of the best in Crete - try the lamb or the chicken in prunes

    Great location, very central to everything. Reasonably quiet for sleep. The room was small but perfectly adequate. The aircon appeared new, was excellent and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily with regular change of towels and sheets. The owners and the staff were very welcoming and it was an excellent stay. We were pleasantly surprised that the aircon and safe were included in our initial room charge -brilliant. Would highly recommend.

    Riverside is a lovely little gem of a place in the perfect location, with its own lovely family run restaurant,. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff are friendly and i would definitely recommend it to others. We will definitely stay there again.

    Compared to the ratings available on Booking we didn’t have that high expectations but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with how everything looked. The view from our balcony was amazing and probably the best one from the hotel. Furthermore there is a large rooftop terrace available on the 2nd floor which we weren’t aware of upon arrival. Anna’s Market (supermarked) is only 50 meters away and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach.

    Best food in town. Very god service. Friendly staff. The room was clean and cosy with a balcony to the apricot tree in the backyard.
