    The room that we booked was the honeymoon suite which was lovely and extremely peaceful the bed was nice and we slept very well.

    We loved the beautiful location. The rooms were very nice and surrounded by beautiful plants - with many birds to see. The lodge has a very nice pool and restaurant, and even a small walk to offer in the back (which you can enjoy for birdwatching). We attented three guided game drives at the lodge and were surprised to not see many elephants or other wildlife (we saw four elephants in three days) - the vegetation is quite dense and it is not as easy to spot wildlife as, for example, in Kruger Park of Mfolozi Park. However, we enjoyed staying here and had a very relaxed, pleasent time in the beautiful rooms. The breakfast is amazing, and we liked most of the dinner meals that were offered (one out of three evenings, a lasagna with way to much salt in it was served, but the rest was fine).

    We paid for Bed and Breakfast. Meals offered were an assortment of cereals and fruit plus a full English breakfast. Quality and amount offered were fantastic. Three-course dinner is offered at R200.00 pp (+/- $14) no choices you take what they have prepared this might not suit some, but each of the three dinners we had was fantastic.

    Being out in the Natural Habitat. The fact that they are job creating for the local community. The panoramic visibility from within the unit is tranquil. Very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly. The facility is clean.

    Location situated in the Tembe Elephant park. peaceful and relaxing. Food was simple and good. Well priced. Staff friendly and accommodating. Did 1 game drive and did not spot any elephant though.

    Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Great food. Game drives were wonderful and we saw elephant and lion and buffalo.atmosphere iof the venue was comfortable and luxurious. Thank you to all at Royal Thonga.

    Relaxing location in a sand forest with the sounds of birds Accomodation is joined by raised walkways to add to the charm of the forest Comfortable bed with mosquito net Nice pool area Excellent cold breakfast with fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt, bran muffins Very friendly and obliging staff Excellent main lodge with cosy open fire place Good location for day trips to Kosi Bay (1 hour drive), sodwana bay (1.5 hours), tembe elephant park Coffee and tea facilities available all day long in the main lodge
