    We weren't expecting a choice of breakfasts which was great. Also an iron in the room was a plus. As we had family members staying in a lodge the hot tub was great.

    I have stayed at Roydon Marina at least 4 times, it is very clean. unfortunately the room I was alloted no 12 is not part of the motel where I normally stay, they have a full size bath reasonable TV good size single beds. room 12 had narrow single beds , one bedside lamp didn't work, the pillow was lumpy the mattress felt lumpy and the TV was very small but worst of all was the carpet outside of the bathroom was sodden and stained ,there had obviously been a leak and it was not properly dealt with, I made an advance booking so would expect a better room .

    Very well located on the canal paths and close to the station. Parking behind an access gate. Easy to book, though the check-in is early. Very comfortable bed.

    The room was warm and cosy and the bed was nice and comfortable. The on site Italian restaurant was also very good so didn't need to venture far to get something to eat as the weather was really bad

    Setting was beautiful, overlooking the water and nearby marina, only 10 minutes walk to the village centre. Friendly staff across the whole site. Excellent cooked breakfast at the boathouse with % discount as a staying guest. Also complimentary cereals, croissant and hot drinks in the room. Price - value for money was brilliant.

    Staff very friendly, I really liked the relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant and the cafe were both good. Near the waterways and good walks.
