El hotel Running Horses es una antigua estación de autobuses que ofrecía la ruta principal que va de Londres al Sur y que ha sido una posada tradicional inglesa durante 400 años.     A very friendly, well located hotel. We were travelling with three other couples from my husband's family and we were all made very welcome. There was an issue with maintenance, outside the hotel's power to get immediately fixed, that affected two of the couples. The hotel dealt with the inconvenience very graciously and it couldn't have been handled better. We would definitely return if we were going to the area.

    We wanted the full vegetarian English but they had no vegetarian sausages which was a disappointment. Also only decaf coffee available.

    The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the decor was beautiful. Amanda who was our waitress at dinner was lovely. Food was delicious.

    Excellent bedding. Pillows even better than mine at home. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely decor and bathroom. Beautiful view of the parish church across the road.
