    Excellent English of the reception staff. Very helpful with orientation. Location in respect of Temples and transport and shopping. Modernised bathroom.

    Saik is like a modern day ryokan. It is boutique with only 4 rooms. The room was spacious with a generous bathroom. Breakfast is prepackaged the night before for the following morning and consists of a sandwich, fruit and yogurt. There is a common kitchen where you can prepare meals and make tea or coffee. The staff were helpful and recommended a great restaurant.

    We LOVED Saik. While the exterior/garden is classic, the interior is super sleek modern Japan. Located within walking distance of all the main sites, we loved how beautiful and comfortable the room was for our family, with enough space for the baby to explore.

    Very hospitable staff on arrival. The room was well appointed, comfortable beds, lovely neighbourhood full of temples and fantastic local restaurants within 10 mins walk. Slightly out of the central area but it was nice and quiet at night. Definitely will go back! Breakfast was a lovely touch too!
