Lovely, beautifully decorated and spacious room with a small balcony which is a real luxury in Chelsea. Excellent location close to the tube, shops on kings road and lovely restaurants. The staff were kind enough to leave a birthday card and some chocolates in the room for my husband’s birthday.

best of all were the staff. very warm, friendly, genuine and interesting people. they made the stay a great pleasure. the room was very good, spacious, comfortable and so was the bathroom. loved the balcony. the bed was v comfortable. the lights were v good and there were plenty of them. and there were a lot of power outlets, placed very judiciously. the breakfast was pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful, but not the best of British breakfasts. the toast was made of standard supermarket sliced bread. in a place this expensive, I would expect bakery bread for the toast. and the poached eggs were not served hot with the hot toast and tomatoes. the tomatoes were raw rather than grilled tomatoes. it was decent, but not top class as one would expect here. on the other hand, very early morning, when we left at 5:30, the night receptionist gave us a real treat of delicious and huge hot croissants from Italy, that was really lovely.

The room was nice and big, bathroom was lovely and modern. Very quiet at night.

San Domenico House was perfect for our short stay. The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the rooftops of Chelsea. It is a charming hotel very close to Kings Road so it was close to shopping restaurants etc. We would highly recommend this hotel for a charming stay in London.
