The gardens were excellent and the beach at the time of year we went was excellent. There is a great choice of pool areas all varying in ambience and shade. First rate.

This is one huge resort with 2 names Sandals Barbados & Sandals Royal Barbados - there is no divide guests use all facilities the Royal accommodation may be modern but who stays in their room much in Barbados! We had club level penthouse ocean view amazing! Fabulous view room was large spacious had fabulous large soaking tub overlooking ge ocean. Food at all restaurants very high standard staff amazing entertainment could be improved but it's difficult to find fault with a 6* double resort in Barbados! We travelled around the island so its accessible. Advice would be dont book expensive accommodation or think swim ups exclusive book accommodation at Sandals Barbados but enjoy all the facilities of the Royal. The pools are well kept, the gardens are incredible, the beach (December) was so clean picture perfect. No need to do external boat trips as Sandals does them free!

The resort is quite excellent! Sandals Barbados is right on a fantastic beach with inclusive water sports and includes Hobie Cats, snorkeling, wind surfers, etc. The resort also has a superb Dive Centre for certified divers and those who want to learn. All the Dive staff are excellent and they really know their stuff. Royal Sandals is right next door and is fully accessible to all Sandals guests, so it was like being in two different resorts at the same time. The only thing you can't do there is sleep and it's only a two minute walk! There is a bowling alley, lots of excellent restaurants and many swimming pools to choose from. I can't say enough good things about the Sandals experience.
