    Excellent host. Very comfortable and clean room and house.

    This is a charming spot in a great location in Talkeetna. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast food are provided; cooking is on your own in a fully stocked kitchen. The hosts keep chickens, and provide eggs to guests for cooking! I stayed in the guest house which has a shared bathroom; but I had the place to myself.

    The location was perfect, the price was very reasonable, and the amenities were excellent. The owner/manager was very helpful, accommodating and offered great tips about exploring the area.

    We made our own breakfast with the farm fresh eggs and fresh milk! A real bonus! Also, appreciated the basic groceries in the cupboard...I was sick and enjoyed the chicken noodle soup!

    Everything was super clean! The kitchen had everything that is even more organized than my house! The building is in the woods but easy to find.

    1.The main person was very helpful in getting us oriented and making sure we knew our way around. shared a map too. 2. She was also very generous in providing an anti itch tube which I badly needed for mosquito bites got earlier at Clearwaters. 3.Liked the freedom of preparing a meal or breakfast here, as all basic infrastructure is in place . They provide farm eggs, fruit, Ramen for the hungry and cooking basics. One has to buy the bread and main ingredients for a meal in Town if needed. 4. Well thought out basics like a eye cover and ear plugs provided in the bedroom.

    First of all, I arrived at 11 pm and the door was locked. I called the owner who cheerfully arrived by bicycle within minutes! I loved that the place was so clean and towels were so thick and luxurious.The screens on the windows and fan made it very comfortable to sleep at night even though we were there in record hot weather. It was nice and quiet also. Wish I had more time to stay there! I did however take advantage of the fresh coffee beans and made some delicious coffee that was provided!

    The owner is very nice person. The hostel is very clean and there is a lot of restrooms witch are super clean, so the fact that the restrooms are not privet didn't affect us at all (we were worried8 about that befor we came in). There is a comfortable kitchen with fresh products from his farm. Highly recommend!

    Very friendly owners and guest, clean and organized. Roomy community kitchen with food to cook yourself or snacks including fresh fruit. Games , books, and maps if needed. I had my own bathroom, but the community bathroom downstairs had the showers and toilet separate to make it easy to share. Pictures on website are true to what is here.
