Really comfy beds, big room, good air con, lady owner was nice and gave us advice for the buses. Location not far from night market, nice restaurant and mini marts.

The guesthouse is situated in the central area of Vientiane, within walking distance of half a dozen stunningly beautiful temples, two night markets, the Presidential Palace, lots of dining options for all budgets, the minivan station, and, a little further, the Patuxai. My room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and good reading light. Although I had booked a single room, the owner upgraded me for free to a larger room which had become available - a very nice gesture, and much appreciated; thanks again. The owner and her partner, along with the cleaning and cooking staff, work very hard to make their guests' stay a comfortable experience and ensure that everyone staying there is secure. The owner also runs a small travel agency from reception where guests can plan and book the next steps of their trip.

One reason I chose this place was because the manager had made the effort to respond to comments by previous guests on Booking-there seemed to be a genuine interest in maintaining and improving standards. The staff were professional and prompt. Check-in was easy and I was given an early check-in when I arrived at 11 a.m. A staff member took me to the room, however, the air-con in the room wouldn't turn on so I was immediately upgraded to a room with a balcony. Great! It was obvious that staff had received training. It's centrally located with a lot of cheap restaurants in the area.
