    Omg this place is better than the photos! Holy moly! It’s so elegant but so damn cosy! Exactly what I need after a huge weekend of doing hair shows and loads of traveling. And the bath is the perfect big size. The shower is unreal. Steve is so lovely. I hopefully am sad I only had a night there!

    Breakfast had every choice imaginable, with plenty of fresh fruit and healthy options like veggie sausages all the way to full English breakfast.

    The bath, shower facilities and the room size is fantastic. For me, being a decorator/ business owner of Shield Decor (a Glasgow based firm) the best part was the effort that went into pointing out the ceiling, coving and centre piece. Decor was on point for the building. 😊

    One of the best guesthouses/ B'n'B's I've stayed at. The Alamo was comfortable friendly and had very friendly and helpful staff. The food options for breakfast was great especially the range of vegetarian and vegan options. The room and indeed whole property was comfortable and had a positive atmosphere. The furniture and decoration was excellent and the layout of the building gave it a unique charm. In terms of value for money the Alamo was very good in terms of the experience I've had many hotels which provided a lesser service would charge at least as much.

    Beautiful historic accomodations and furniture with a full selective and delicious breakfast. They had tastefully decorated the dining hall with local artists work that could be purchased . I love that. Many choices in rooms and prices with a friendly touch.

    This hotel is perfectly located on the edge of Kelvingrove park in walking distance of Kelvingrove museum, University of Glasgow, the shops and restaurants on Byres Road. It could not have been more convenient. The hotel looks out onto the park which is pretty. The staff were very welcoming, the room cosy. The bathroom had been renovated recently and was very nice. Good water pressure. The room was small, as is typical of buildings of that age and was full of period features so was exactly as I expected/ as shown in the pictures. This location is perfect for a tourist trip to Glasgow or a wedding or graduation. I liked the fact that the hotel was able to provide a parking pass in particular because parking in the west end is such a nightmare (it's all metered and/or residents only) and that the parking pass was provided at minimal cost.
