    Comfortable bed and a very kind hostess. Breakfast was delicious and served in the room. Wonderful toiletries too! A real treat. We arrived very late after a delayed flight and were still greeted with a warm welcome. Would definitely stay again!

    Our experience at the Brown Hen Lodge was fantastic. It’s set in a beautiful, rural location & the room & facilities were excellent. Gwyneth, the owner could not have been more helpful & lovely. She accommodated our request for an early check in, helped book a taxi at the last minute when ours fell through & she cooks a mean Irish breakfast! I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone.

    Accommodation was fantastic as were the staff. Gwyneth really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was excellent. I would recommend to anybody and look forward to visiting again.

    Gwyneth was an amazing host, made sure we had everything that we needed. The neighbourhood was very quiet which was what we were looking for. If you are lucky with the weather, you can also observe the most amazing sky at night, as there is very little light around you.

    The room is beautiful. Feels like a five star hotel room. You can tell the lady has a real flare for interior design and takes great pride in it down to the finest little touches. The view is beautiful. We had a gorgeous meal in Poachers inn which is 5 mins drive from the b and b. Breakfast was gorgeous and the five star touches continued to finish a wonderful stay. Love it.
