    I admit that I love this hotel and therefore am prejudiced, maybe. I have not been to this hotel for 3+ years so when I booked the visit to this hotel I was concerned that the quality and facilities would be reduced. It has not reduced. It has increased. I agree that there are no evening meals available but I rarely used that offering anyhow (hence the reason why it is no longer available). But the local pubs (short walking distance) offer a great menu and atmosphere. And the hotel does have a good bar. Value is excellent. Breakfast is outstanding. I challenge anyone to find a better breakfast in the area. I hope I do not leave it as long to return but if I do I know I will not be disappointed.

    We liked the setting of the place, the builging was lovely as were the gardens , there was plenty parking places. The village is beautiful and the local pubs are welcoming. The staff are your hotel were very helpful and welcoming the beds were excellent we will be coming again.

    Good breakfast. Attractive looking old building from the outside. Member of staff who tried to find a more suitable room tried to be helpful.

    Buffet breakfast on the first day was dry but for the next two days was waitress served very good our room was the four poster room was a good size larger than normal with a good bathroom and hot shower

    A charming hotel, with an inviting lounge (leather chairs), secluded patio, beautiful garden and breakfast rooms. Very helpful personnel facilitated our after-hours check in.
