    The YMCA original architecture gives this place class and elegance. The lobby and outdoor restaurant really make me feel like I'm being treated to the best value for my stay. The room design was modern and refreshing.

    When we reserved this hotel, we were looking for location/price. We wanted to be near the harbor, Seaport Village, and Little Italy was a bonus. We were SO pleased with the overall experience. For us, an unknown bonus was that this used to be a YMCA - my husband and I met as lifeguards at our local YMCA way back when, and were visiting San Diego just days before our wedding anniversary! The staff was outstanding, from the front desk to the restaurant/bar staff to the housekeeping staff: smiles and hellos around every corner. Our view to Broadway was lovely, and we LOVE what has been done for the courtyard restaurant seating; it felt like a little Mediterranean eatery.
