    the location is very good because it’s in a short walking distance from the harbor, the beach and also from many good restaurants. The rooms are beautiful and we loved the shared room where we had breakfast with the other guests and the lovely host family. Staff was amazing too, Breakfast was delicious and they organized a private snorkeling trip for us, which went super good. Overall we loved our time there and can highly recommend this place.

    Nice area when you walk in - very well kept garden. Mosquito net is decent. Smoothie bowl was nice even though some of the fruit was frozen.

    The Hangout is a very nice place. Very well located on Gili Air. The atmosphere is very friendly, especially thanks to the owners. You will be able to share the breakfast with them, freshly prepared by a very nice staff. They gave us many recommandations about tours, restaurants, and helped us to book a snorkelling trip. The bed was very good as well.

    We really enjoyed the overall vibe at the Hangout. The owners and staff are really friendly and gave us all the tips to explore Gili Air. Within an hour the boss organized bikes for us and was really helpful during our stay. The breakfast changes daily from scrambled eggs, smoothie bowl (wow, so good!) and pancakes. We really liked the short walk from the harbor which made it easy to not use the poor horses. The design of the Hangout is also pretty cool and the garden is beautiful. It‘s also very very clean and the rooms are spacious!

    We loved the gardens, they are truly beautiful and the rooms are hidden amongst the plants! It’s location in the village means that it’s very quiet here, and the vibe at the hangout is very relaxed 😎We enjoyed the breakfast and it was something different everyday which was cool.

    The location was ideal as very close to the Harbor (about 10 minutes walking distance or less). Easy to get to the east side of the island for snorkelling, within 5-10 mins walking. The vibe was very chilled and really brought you into the ‘island life’, this was helped by the friendly and helpful staff. For instance, they arranged a bike for me to rent within 20 minutes!

    Great location Cute lounge area Very nice and helpful staff, greeting was very nice, explaining everything to know about Gili, giving a map, welcome drink etc... Yum breakfast :)
