    The facilities provided in the room are top notch. It is like home from home. The bed hanging from the ceiling is unique. Warm comfortable bed to sleep in. Met Barbara who allowed us to check in early, much appreciated and thank you.

    The Hide is very special and unique. We were a family of five and our apartment was perfect. The amenities were outstanding, the interior design is enviable and our accommodation was SO comfortable. We happened to meet our Barbara which was a delightful and timely surprise. It’s located on a great street with so many cafes and restaurants and a ten minute walk away from the magical city centre.

    The staff. I have been in different places in Europe including 5 star luxury hotels. Never seen such a friendly attention. Also our small dog was very happy. Barbara is the best. She helped us with everything and she always had a smile on her face. We are really glad to stay here. In hotel, every detail is well thought. It is very close to the central. I recommend it 100%...

    Luxury. Large and lovely. What a great find. Host Barbara couldn't do enough to please . She was wonderful.. all apartments seem big well done and a little quirky. It's that quirkiness that makes this a great place.. definitely recommend..

    My second stay at The Hide. A different apartment and a very unexpected surprise yet again! Stylish! Very comfortable! Unique details! No fuss policy! Easy check-in and check-out! I can absolutely recommend this place if you like comfort and privacy.

    The apartment was stylish and so comfortable. The owner was too much friendly. I recommend anyone who is planning to visit Ghent to stay in hide since it's near by everything and the apartment is fully equipped.

    Stylish, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. A 10-15 minute walk to all the sites. Bus and tram are steps away and the train station is a few tram stops away. There is a grocery store next door and many restaurants steps away. Do yourself a favor and try Oats Day Long for breakfast or lunch. Communication with Barbara (and Sylvie in her absence) was excellent. I highly recommend.
