The Hurdwick is located 2 doors away from Mornington Crescent tube station, which is perfectly located at the top of Camden High Street, and an easy walk straight down the High Street for Camden Lock, Camden Market, and the Street Food area. The hotel itself has clearly been tastefully refurbished recently, is a boutique hotel, so bare essentials in the room ie. Bed, TV, Hairdryer, and place to hang your clothes, with a very nice en-suite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was nice quality. We thought there would be lots of internal noise at night with people coming and going, but there was nothing, it was so quiet. The hotel is right on the main road and the windows have secondary glazing and the room has air conditioning, so again not a problem. There is a small lounge area and terrace with complimentary tea/coffee which was a nice touch. The staff are very nice and helpful, and there is also somewhere to leave luggage if required.

3 of us stayed in room 4 on the ground floor. The place is immaculate, the bed was so comfy. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a very pleasant outside area to sit ( my sister and niece are smokers). There is also a microwave in the lounge/ kitchen area. The Hurdwick is a couple of doors away from Mornington Crescent tube station, so it was very convenient. The staff ( owner?) I met were extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area. We walked to Camden Lock and market. I would definitely recommend this little gem.
