    The place is very spacious and we absolutely loved the quirky decor! The sitting room chairs and the bed are very comfortable and the bathroom is well-appointed. The small kitchenette is perfectly adequate, and encourages guests to eat out; a good thing in Barrydale where there are lots of good choices. The attention to detail is wonderful, from the treats and basics in the fridge, to the range of toiletries in the bathroom. A lot of thought has gone into making this such a pleasant place to stay. We had a good breakfast at Diesel and Creme, just on the doorstep (same owners).

    The decor of this motel is so much fun! A mix of “days gone by” and modern creates such a unique feel and works wonderfully. The little extras like biscuits, coffee (instant and nespresso) and tea, to a little welcome snack of a packet of chips, to a blister pack of panado and a few extra toiletries in the bathroom shows how so much thought went into creating a comfortable stay.

    What a wonderful experience and value for money. There is everything you need from nail polish remover to almond milk. We definitely recommend The Karoo Moon Hotel to anyone who like something different and we will be coming back!!

    Barrydale is one of my favourite places to go. So quirky and fulled with such creative artisans and trades people. Karoo Moon Hotel at Diesel and Creme is simply sublime. Totally enthralling when it comes to decor being the coolest of vintage-grunge-chic you will come across.

    Perfectly located next to the hip and happening, child friendly Diesel and Creme Diner and in walking distance to the whole village and all it has to offer. Beautifully decorated shabby chic suite with antiques and stove fireplace with as much wood as you can burn. Many extras provided in the kitchenette.

    Dean was so helpful and did everything he could to ensure we had the most wonderful stay. The motel is super funky and comfortable, and the fireplace just put the cherry on top. I would definitely recommend it!
