    The staff were absolutely first class. Always pleasant, communicative but never intrusively so. The quality of the ingredients in the food was very good. My wife liked the buffet style of dining where you could take as little as you wanted.

    The room was excellently appointed. Lots of storage space. A lovely view of the estuary. Tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast and evening meals are buffet style with lots of choice and good value.

    This was my first stay at the Moorfield Hotel, although I have traveled to Shetland quite a few times on business. I’ll certainly be back and I’ll certainly recommend it to others.

    - Hotel looks quite new - Spacious rooms even with a small couch - Located in Brae a bit far from Lerwick but closer to spectacular nature - Restaurant provide generous breakfast and dinner, though not gourmet-quality, the food was exactly what we needed after a day of hiking - everone from the staff was very friendly

    Clean and very well equipped room, with all the connections a business traveller could want, such as USB charging, wired & wireless Ethernet, and connections to output from a laptop to the TV. Well placed in Brae, and better than Lerwick hotels.

    Lovely room with a beautiful view over the loch, good facilities with nice bathroom. Lovely and warm even on a cold day. Staff did there best for us.

    Hotel food was very good, but since hotel caters very much for visitors to Sullom Voe terminal, buffet or waiter service was not always clear what to do.
