    The gardens were lovely. Enjoyed the fire in the pub and dining room. Our evening meal and breakfast were very nice.

    I could not have asked for better service from Julianne who helped with all I needed with such patience and grace. It’s not often one comes across someone so happy to help in any way they can. I had several complications with my booking, no fault of the hotel itself, but Juliane accommodated me without a single complaint or grumble. Thank you.

    The vibe is really what sets the place apart. The legendary pub (and locals) made for an extremely fun night. The owners have put real effort into the place with little design touches that elevate the experience. Nice and simple with a cozy atmosphere.

    The room was heated and there was sufficient bedding to keep out the chill. The food served at dinner was superb and the breakfast good. It’s my second stay and I hope, it’ll not be the last.

    Breakfast and dinner was very good. The hotel, although very old, was good, also the pub. And the staff was very friendly, from checking in, to breakfast and dinner.

    Loved the history of the hotel and the pub had an amazing vibe to it. The fire added to the warmth of the pub. The beds were really comfortable and the wall heater ensured that the room was nice and toasty.

    I ran comrades so traveling from PMB after the race to Notties was an absolute breeze. We had a fabulous dinner on Sunday night and an awesome breakfast on Monday morning. The food was yummy.
