    I thought the breakfast was poor, there were no cereals or fruit and what I ordered was not good. The rest of our stay however was just fine.

    The food in the restaurant was great and the room was lovely. Staff were friendly, check-in straightforward and everything was very clean. Everything you could ask for in a country inn.

    The evening meal was amazing. The room beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. Location beautiful and very peaceful.

    The location was pretty and quiet but seemed to have a good village community buzz. The breakfast was good but I would have liked a choice of cereals and fruit as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a boutique-like design.

    The breakfast was good, the staff were lovely, the atmosphere was great, there is a nice garden, its in a quiet spot, lots of cyclists come for food, the bar was not noisy late at night. I would stay again. Liked the book rack at the top of the stairs! I really like the location. Dinner was good but I think the chef is trying a bit too hard and it doesn't always come off.

    Stayed here for one night only while working in the area. After what seemed like driving through endless narrow lanes, wooded glades, steep inclines I finally came to the oasis that is the Plough at Coldharbour. What a lovely traditional English country pub it is too. Set in a area of outstanding natural beauty this quaint pub is at the heart of this sleepy hamlet. I was shown to my room which was small but elegantly decorated and had everything I needed. I ate in the pubs dining area and had the most amazing superfood beetroot and hot smoked salmon salad, which was substantial and filling. I know that if I'm in this area in the future, i shall definitely stay here again.
