    Hotel charge my card 630$, but the rate was around 400... i find out by accidenty!!! Very disappointed!!!!

    Staff was excellent and very accommodating and Rita Copeli, from front desk, was amazing as she went the extra mile and helped with booking/ check in as well as sent a note and some TLC as my wife and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary

    We were initially quite disappointed with the hotel having been assigned a suite next to the electrical room... there was a loud noise which made it literally impossible to sleep. After talking to the hotel manager, we were moved to an ordinary king bed room as all the suites were sold out. It wasn’t pleasant to move rooms at 10pm, not to mention to a lower grade room., and then have to move again the second day to the suite we originally booked... we just felt all this pain could have been avoided if the rooms were carefully inspected and any problems were duly recorded in the database. The good thing is that the hotel did try their best in terms of service recovery by waiving the cost of our first night stay and sending us to a nicer suite the second day, although a bit late of the day. And staffs are mostly nice and trying to solve the problem. So overall, it wasn’t too bad an experience.

    My wife and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton from 25th to 28th May as part of our 25th wedding anniversary holiday in the US. The hotel is excellent - we upgraded to the junior suite which is amazingly spacious. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the fitness centre is excellently fitted out (open 24 hours). The location of the hotel on Nob Hill is very good, right next to Chinatown and within walking distance (10 to 30 minutes) to Union Square, the Embarcedaro/Fisherman's Wharf and North Beach. I had asked the hotel if they could arrange for a surprise for my wife and they happily arranged for chocolate coated strawberries to be sent to the room with a greeting card, which was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend the Ritz-Carlton. Obviously there are cheaper hotels in San Francisco but if you want to experience 5/6-star service and don't mind paying a premium for that, no need to look further.

    All of the staff were very obliging and the bed was superb with a deep topper. We were in a club room and the club food and drink offering was excellent with very helpful dedicated concierges.
