The location is fabulous right next to west byfleet station where there are 4 trains an hour to Waterloo. Communal kitchen with fridge and microwave boxes of cereal provided and milk in fridge tea and coffee in rooms. Overall basic but definitely adequate.

Rooms were very clean and basic. It was right beside the train station and taxi office. Bar was very pleasent and staff behind the bar were very friendly. Had parking right outside.

Really exactly what you expect for the price ... bear in mind not all the shared bathrooms have sinks, but easy to get around. Extra toilets too so even if you share a bathroom I never saw anyone else to navigate around. Honestly if I need to stay in this area again I’d use this hotel. Just imagine an older style guesthouse (but with nice extras like tv and kettle and tea in room, clean towels and individual soaps and even shower gel/moisturiser- I saw extras in the bathrooms too). Although I did not have breakfast there was a little shared kitchenette with microwave if you needed it, so that was really handy if you are on a budget. Plus there were little cereal packets and jam which I have a feeling were out as a free breakfast if I’d wanted. Plus free WiFi and really lovely staff. And food was good pub fare as you’d expect. I stayed alone in the single room. Was pleasant.
