    The service, presentation and food were excellent. We had dinner the evening in their restaurant and breakfast in their morning room, both had a bright an cheerful atmosphere.

    Convenient stop over en route north, comfy bed, lovely bedding and towels, excellent breakfast, good service. In need of a little updating but very good value.

    Bed was very comfortable and excellent shower en-suite (although the shower leaked into the bathroom). Good secure parking and situated close to centre of town. WiFi was good. Breakfast was excellent although some minor irritations. See below.

    Ideal location for a transit stop en route from our holiday in the highlands to home. Bedroom was clean and fresh. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly.

    Great staff. Nice food and restaurant. Good decor and facilities in room, apart from bed. Overall it was obvious that attention to facilities had been made In most areas.

    We arrived over an hour later than check in was supposed to be open for but the staff were amazing and a member of staff stayed at the hotel until we arrived to welcome us and check us in late.

    The staff were awesome! It was our anniversary and they made it really special for us surprising my wife with cheese, prossecco and grapes in our room. We had a small dog with, who definitely was not allowed on the bed!! They made him really welcome and reserved us a place in the bar which was ideal for him and saved us going around pubs / restaurants at night asking if they're dog friendly. The hotel has some really original decor internally, it's awesome and quite unique. Charlie behind the bar was on the ball, he got to know us our drink orders and just helped make it a lovely evening. About a mile from the hotel is a nature reserve and a really nice walk if you have a dog with.
